Social Focus

Social Focus Since the opening of the first company in Grupo Elemento, the Management and Presidency have always been clear that social focus activities would be part of the company's daily life, and that has been the case for over 25 years

With the creation of GRUPO ELEMENTO Corporate, the SOCIAL FOCUS department was also created, with the aim of reaching more people who are in vulnerable situations in the community and supporting them in overcoming the conditions that prevent them from achieving integral human development. With the support of community leaders who promote civic culture and the social responsibility of GRUPO ELEMENTO, initiatives are carried out in the community, such as:

Workshops and recreational activities for the social development of children.
Development of family activities that strengthen empathy and family values.
Promotion of cultural activities to preserve traditions in Mexico.
Workshops for the dissemination of new knowledge for children and adults.
Conferences and activities focused on building a more equitable and inclusive society.
Recreational events in the community to celebrate family holidays.
Conferences for young people on addiction prevention.

Finally, GRUPO ELEMENTO's most ambitious social project is in collaboration with ASULAC (Association of Suicidology of Latin America and the Caribbean), which for years has sought to provide support with appropriate treatments with appropriate treatments and trained professionals for suicidal depressed sufferers.

In 2022, ASULAC began a course with the objective of preparing and training psychology professionals to be able to care for patients with this problem and GRUPO ELEMENTO granted scholarships to support and attack this current need that mainly affects adolescents and young people, in all socioeconomic levels.

In January 2023, GRUPO ELEMENTO and ASULAC, convinced that they could still do more, successfully opened the first clinic in Latin America that exclusively cares for patients with suicidal behavior.

GRUPO ELEMENTO has known how to recognize the importance of creating programs and projects for the well-being of the community and wants to be able to inspire more companies to join this or different causes with social responsibility.
